Erin is in service of Wholeness.

She is especially enlivened by reclaiming animal body wisdom.  Inquiry into haptic/phoric principles: the simultaneity of sensing and acting, taught her to ask the question with each step, “Are you a support for me?” She helps others tend the deep ground of this moment while palpating the terrain of the next step in life’s adventure.

Erin came to Continuum through the teachings of Cory Blake and Mark Bryant in their fertile Richmond, VA Continuum community. Within this community, meditation and Continuum pour into and nourish one another. Her meditation background is in Zen Buddhism and Meditative Inquiry. Her movement background is in ballet and spontaneous nature dancing.

Erin met Susan Harper in 2015 and was transformed by her way of teaching. This meeting seeded her aspiration to offer Continuum to others. She started teaching in 2017 and joined the CTA in 2019.

A mentoring relationship with Rebecca Lawson provided the loving scaffolding for the tendrils of Erin’s teaching explorations to wind around. In Rebecca’s Elemental retreats, Erin steeped deeply in the wisdom of our oldest teachers: the Elements.

In her work as an embodied psychotherapist, Erin offers individual support as well as mindfulness programs and retreats for children, teens, and families. She regularly holds a middle school girls' support group.

Erin assists at the Mystery Depths retreats with Susan Harper and Rebecca Lawson in North Carolina.  She offers Continuum classes in Richmond, VA and online.
